Amanda is Awesome

Happy weekend, all! =) I am sharing another sneak peek for the new release available starting June 1st over at Stamping Bella.

She belongs to a brand new collection called "Tiny Townies!" And I tell ya, you are going to love these cuties! =)

This image is called Amanda is Awesome and she is colored on Papertrey Ink's Stamper's Select White cardstock with Copic markers.

I paired my Amanda with patterned paper from American Crafts/Amy Tangerine's Stitched 6x6 Paper Pad. The sentiment that comes with Amanda is longer and actually pretty awesome, but I chose to use only part of it to fit the design of my card.

That's it for now. Please visit Stamping Bella Blog to see more samples for Amanda is Awesome from my talented teammates and find out how to win her! =)

Petunia Has a Party

This is my second post of the day. Please click here to see my post for Purple Onion Designs sneak peeks. Thanks! =)

Hello, all! =) And I am here to share a card for this week's Bellarific Friday.

Here is the sketch that we were supposed to follow.

I flipped the sketch 90 degrees counterclockwise to fit the image that I used.

I  chose to color up the sweet Petunia Has a Party for my card. She and her little chick friends are stamped on PTI's Rustic White cardstock with Antique Linen Distress Ink, colored with Copic markers then die cut to size.

The patterned paper is from American Crafts Project Life Inspire Edition 6x6 Paper Pad and the sentiment comes with Petunia.

That's all from me. Please visit Stamping Bella Blog to see what the other design team members and participants created using this sketch and find out the challenge theme for next week! =)

Jolly & Midnight

Happy Friday, my friends! =) It's sneak peek time over at Purple Onion Designs! The super cute brand new collection by Stacey Yacula is called Sweet Occasions and it will be available starting Monday, May 25! There are also some awesome giveaways with today's peeks, but more on that later. =)

The new collection is great for all the holidays around the year and my first card showcases the delightful Jolly!

He is stamped on Papertrey Ink's Stamper's Select White cardstock with Antique Linen Distress Ink and colored with Copic markers.  This guy makes me happy! I just adore his big grin! =)

I kept the card simple with camouflaged sentiment to keep Jolly in focus. The sentiment die is from Lawn Fawn.

I couldn't resist a cute kitty stamp and I had to color up Midnight for my second card.

She and her little pumpkin buddy is stamped on PTI's Rustic White cardstock with Antique Linen Distress Ink and colored with Copic makers. I have to say that Stacey's pumpkins are magical! =)

Another simple finish for the card. The sentiment die is from Paper Smooches.

That's all for now. Both Michele and Stacey are each giving away an ENTIRE set of the Sweet Occasions collection! Go to their blogs (linked above) to find out how you can win them! Some of the design team members from today's sneak peek are having smaller giveaways, too! You can find their links over at Purple Onion Designs Blog.

If you leave me a comment here, you will have a chance to win Jolly, Midnight and Ginger (you can find samples with Ginger over at Purple Onion Designs Blog)! You have until Midnight on Sunday, May 24 to enter for a chance to win! Have fun and good luck! =)

Thanks so much for stopping by!

CAS(E) This Sketch #124

This is my second post of the day. Please click here or scroll down to see my post for Mo's Digital Pencil Monthly Blog Hop. Thanks! =)

Hello, my friends! =) There is also a new sketch up over at CAS(E) This Sketch and here is this week's sketch.

Here is my take on it.

Ah... No stamping or Copic coloring on this one, finally! =)

I die cut the feathers from My Favorite Things' Accent It - Feathers and Arrows die set out of watercolor paper and colored them with Kuretake ZIG Gansai Tambi watercolor.

The sentiment is from Happy Hellos die set and is painted with black and bronze watercolor.

That's all for now. Don't forget to find out what the other design team members created using this week's sketch and see all the challenge details over at CAS(E) This Sketch! I can't wait to see what you make! =)

Mo's Digital Pencil Monthly Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to Mo's Digital Pencil Monthly Blog Hop! If you arrived from Heidy's Blog, you are on the right track! Here is my card for the hop.

This month's host is Heidy and her challenge theme is "Christmas!" It's never too early to start on the holiday card collection, right? =)

I used the handsome Penguin with Gift for my card. The image is printed on Papertrey Ink's Stamper's Select White cardstock, colored with Copic markers then trim and die cut to size.

The patterned paper is from Chickadindy's Jolly Good 6x6 Collection Pad. I used the super fun Camouflaging die cuts technique on the sentiment. I am addicted to this technique at the moment. =)

That's all I have and it's time to send you to Anneke's Blog! Don't forget to leave comments along the way. TWO lucky commenters will each receive a $5 gift certificate to use in Mo's Digital Pencil! Have fun hopping and good luck!

Have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!

My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #229

Happy Wednesday, my friends! =) A new sketch is up over at MFT Challenge & Inspiration Blog! Here is this week's sketch.

Here is my take on it.

I went a little out of my comfort zone and used a non neutral color for my card base. =)

The farm animals are from the super duper cute The Whole Herd set. They are stamped on pieces die cut using Inside & Out Stitched Rounded Square STAX with Antique Linen Distress Ink then colored with Copic markers.

To make the background more interesting, I stamped the animals that didn't make it onto the squares on the Berrylicious Ride the Wave piece. The sentiment is included in The Whole Herd set.

That's all I have. Don't forget to find out what the other design team members created for this week's sketch and see all the challenge details over at MFT Challenge & Inspiration Blog! Hope you can join us this week! =)

Have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by!

True Friends + Proof Positive

Hi ya, all! =) My Favorite Things is featured in the "To Die For" column in Create Magazine's May issue. A few of the MFT design team and challenge team members created projects using Proof Positive Cover-Up and Picnic Basket dies showing different ways that you can use these dies.

I chose to work with the fun Proof Positive Cover-Up die.

I cut a piece of watercolor paper using the Proof Positive Cover-Up die and used the cut out as a stencil to create the background for my card. I used Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor to fill in the spots.

The sentiment is from True Friends set. To continue the watercolor look, I inked the sentiment with black and bronze watercolor before stamping. The piece is then mounted on a Persimmon card base with foam tape.

That's all I have. Please visit Create Magazine to see all the projects created by the MFT team and that's also where you can find the brand new May issue of Create magazine! =)

Have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by!
