I got to play with the fabulous new Smooches script die! The first time that I saw this awesome sentiment in the Smooches stamp set, I thought that it would be great if it's also a stand alone die. Kim definitely is a genius! =)

This die is so versatile, you can use any image with it! I chose to ink up this adorable cutie from the Giddy Bugs set with Antique Linen Distress Ink. She is then colored with Copic markers then fussy cut out. There is a matching die set for this stamp if you are not a fussy cutting lover!

For the background, I die cut the brush strokes from the Paint Strokes Wise Die set using watercolor paper and added colors with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor. The Smooches die is also covered with a bit of subtle sparkle from a Clear Wink of Stella Brush Pen.

That's all I have. Don't forget to leave comments along the way for a chance to win! =)

Have fun hopping and good luck! =)

CAS(E) This Sketch #170

Hello, all! =) New sketch is up over at CAS(E) This Sketch! First is the sketch.

Here is my card.

I flipped the sketch upside down and added a little personal touch! =)

The little koala is from Reverse Confetti's Bear Hugs set. He is stamped with Antique Linen Distress Ink, colored with Copic markers then fussy cut out.

I was hoping that the sideways X thingy would look more like a tree, but it didn't work out like that exactly. =) The sentiment is included in the Bear Hugs set.

That's all I have for now. Don't forget to find out what the other design team members created for this week's sketch and see all the challenge details over at CAS(E) This Sketch! =)

My humble little craft space

Hello, all! =) Thanks RG team assignments, I got a chance to show you my tiny little craft space.

I do all my crafting/card making on our dining table, well, half of our dining table. =) We live in an condo with limited space and I chose to craft in the open in our living room/dining room even though we do have a spare bedroom.

Most of my frequently used supplies are behind me on a baker's shelf kind of thing. This is the view if I turn to my right when I sit on my chair.

Some of these Sterilite ClearView Latch boxes hold finished cards (and I have LOTS of them) and some hold my stamps. Two of them hold embellishments, but in fact, I only use a few bags of sequins these days. =) Of course I have more supplies (that are not as frequently used) and finished cards, but they are stored in our spare room.

There are also tools and inks in here somewhere in their own plastic boxes. It's an organized chaos. =)

These hold "some" of my beloved washi tapes. If you see any boxes like this in the photos, they are all washi tapes. Yes, I know I have issues! =)

And to my right on the floor next to my seat is my trusty Copics in their case and trimmers. The paper bag is for small scraps and trash.

To the right of the table is another chair that holds my laptop (connected to the monitor you see on the table) and projects that are ready to be blogged and/or waiting to be finished.

To the left of my working space are my pens! I love pens and I have too many of them! Also the little Canon Selphy CP910 that I use to print photos (mostly for my journals). And of course everyone needs a TARDIS! =)

To the right of my working space is my little gang. I feel like I am being judged ALL the time though! >_<

That's all! Here is a slideshow if you care to see them all at once! =)

Thanks so much for stopping by my little craft space!

Have a lovely day!

Mr. Bee is from the Bee Mine set. He is stamped with Antique Linen Distress Ink and colored with Copic markers then fussy cut out. There is a matching die set for this stamp if you are not a fussy cutting fan! =)

I die cut the Honeycomb piece with watercolor paper and colored it used Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor. The sentiment is from the super versatile Smooches set.

Hello, my friends! =) New Sketch for the week is up over at CAS(E) This Sketch! First is the sketch.

Here is my take on it.

I flipped the sketch upside down and added a little personal touch as always. =)

The beautiful flowers are from Altenew's Magnolias for Her set. They are stamped on watercolor paper with Antique Linen Distress Ink then colored with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor.

I did a light wash around the flowers to create a subtle background and the sentiment is created using my trusty Dymo label maker.

That's all from me. Don't forget to find out what the other design team members created using this week's sketch and see all the challenge details over at CAS(E) This Sketch! =)

Mo's Digital Pencil Monthly Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to Mo's Digital Pencil Monthly Blog Hop! I happen to be the start of the hop this time. Hope you have fun! =)

This month's host for the hop is Yours Truly and I challenged the team to use at least an die cut element in their cards/projects. I used a die to create the cloud border for my image.

The image that I used is Amanita. She is printed on PTI's Rustic White cardstock, colored with Copic markers then die cut and trimmed to size.

The patterned paper is from Crate Paper's Style Board 6x6 paper pad and the sentiment is from the Summer Lovin set by Paper Smooches.

That's all from me. It's time to send you to Vili's Blog! Don't forget to leave comments along the way, TWO lucky commenters will each receive a $5 gift certificate to use in the Mo's Digital Pencil Store! Have fun hopping and good luck! =)

Pocket Stitch With Blooms

Hi ya, all! =) Here is a card that I made for Mother's Day using dies from RG's Lumberjack Days Collection.

What's better than a pocket full of wild flowers for mom, right? =)

The jeans pocket is cut using the Pocket Stitch die set. I used watercolor to try and make it look like a jean pocket. =) The flowers and leaves are from the super versatile Lumberjack Blooms, Bromance Blooms and Branch Out die sets and colored with Kuretake Gansa Tambi watercolor as well.

The sentiment die is from my stash.

That's all for now. For more inspirations using products from RG, please visit the Richard Garay Blog! =)

Boob Tubes + Space Cadet

Happy Monday, my friends! =) Here is a card that I made using some super duper cute and fun stamps and dies from Paper Smooches!

I absolutely adore this retro TV image and thought that it would be fun to use it with those adorable aliens! =)

The TV is from the Boob Tubes set. I did a little masking so that the little aliens from the Space Cadet set could appear in it. All images are stamped with Antique Linen Distress Ink and colored with Copic markers. The TV image is then die cut using a die from the new Boob Tube Icons matching die set.

The background is created with some of my beloved Japanese washi tapes and the sentiment is included in the Space Cadet set.

That's all I have for now. For more inspirations using stamps and dies from Paper Smooches, please visit the Paper Smooches Blog! =)

Lumberjack Days Mini Album

Happy Weekend, all! =) Here is a mini album that I made using the fun Lumberjack Days Collection from RG.

It's been a really long time since I have made a mini album. =) Here is a little process/preparation.

I decided that this album is going to be 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" using just very simple supplies. The bases are Rustic White cardstock. The stamps, patterned paper and embellishments are all from the Lumberjack Days Collection. The photos are from our trip to Taiwan back in February.

The dies that I used are from the Branch Out, Bromance Blooms and Lumberjack Blooms sets. I like to get all the die-cuttting done before I start planning out my pages and never worry about the leftovers, they will be used in future projects/cards! =)

Here are the basic layouts for each of the 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" pages. I always plan out the photos before I add embellishments.

Here is the look of all the pages with stamped backgrounds (using the Timber set) and after I added all the embellishments. One of the embellishments was a stamp from the park that we went to that day. Many of the tourists spots in Taiwan has stamps like that, they are perfect for your scrapbook pages or journals! Don't forget to look/ask for them at the visiting office if you visit places in Taiwan! =)

Here is a slideshow of all the pages after they are all done and polished. I ended up using a couple of my Japanese washi tapes to help decorating it as well.

That's all for now. Hope you likey! =) For more inspirations using RG products, please visit the Richard Garay Blog!

Have a fantastic day and thanks for stopping by!
