Filigree

Hello, my friends! =) It's the last day of Mama Elephant's May Stamp Highlight and we are focusing on the beautiful Filigree set.

I think the actual card in person looks a bit better than the photo. Please excuse my poor photographing skill.

The large doily from Filigree set is clear embossed on the back of a piece of watercolor paper. I then drew circles on the doilies using Inktense Blocks and went over them with a aqua brush to get the watercolor look. The sentiment is included in the Filigree set as well.

That's all from me. Don't forget to check out what the other design team members created using this set. Here are the links:

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #101

Happy Friday, my friends! It's time for a new challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays Challenge! Here is this week's challenge.

All you need to do is creating a CAS card with some stamping on designer/patterned paper for a chance to win! Here is my take on the challenge.

I picked a smaller patterned to stamp on since my focal images are bigger and bold. Or at least I think that's how you break up the small patterns and draw attention to the focal point. =)

The border image and sentiment are from Bold Wishes set by CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and the patterned paper is from Trend Setter 6x6 Paper Pad by Fancy Pants.

This week's sponsor is CAS-ual Fridays Stamps. Don't forget to find out what the other Girl Fridays came up with for this challenge and all the challenge details here. Hope you can join us this week! =)
