Paper Smooches SPARKS Picture Perfect Challenge

Happy Sunday, my friends! =) It's time for a new challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenges Blog! Here is the inspiration photo.

It's a Picture Perfect Challenge this week. I love the soft pastel colors on the jars and that's where I drew my inspiration for my card.

I'll take any chance to make my watercolor stripe backgrounds and this one is perfect for it!

The jar, little tag and flower are from Crystal Clear set. I used the matching dies with the jar image to make the little shaker. Fun, no? =)

The sentiment die is from Hello Words die set and it's coated with Rock Candy Distress stickles for a little shine.

    Fox, Owl and Bunny

Hello, all! Here is a set of three cards that I made for Inspiration Journal's June Challenge.

June's challenge theme is Christmas in June! It's never too early to start, right? =) I combined the holiday sentiments from Paper Smooches with Lawn Fawn's winter critters. First up is Winter Owl.

This one is with Winter Bunny. All critters are colored with Copic markers. These are all mail friendly one-layer cards and super quick and easy to make! And as far as I know, that's the best kind of holiday cards when you need to make a lot of them. =)

Last but not least is Winter Fox. I traced all the sentiments from Joyful Greetings set with Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush Marker for a little sparkle.

That's all for now. Don't forget to link your projects here for a chance to win 50 Emporium Dollars to use in the Inspiration Emporium Store. You can use discount code wonderland anytime when you shop in the Inspiration Emporium Store to receive 10% off your entire order. =)

    Snuggle

Happy Sunday, all! =) Here is a card that I made for a tutorial that I wrote up for Inspiration Journal. You can see how I created the color wash stripe background here.

I am kind of addicted to making those watercolor stripe backgrounds! It's really easy and no two are the same! =)

The image is called Snuggle from The Greeting Farm. She is apparently out of production as of now, but any image would work. She is stamped on PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock, colored with Copic markers then fussy cut out.

The sentiment is from Bold Buzzwords by Paper Smooches. Once again, you can find the tutorial on how to create the background here.

That's all for now. Have a sweet day, my friends! =)

    Thanks for stopping by!

    Baby Fairy Purl

Happy Friday, all! Here is a card that I made using a lovely image from Mo's Digital Pencil.

I used to do a lot more knitting and crochet, so this image is a must have! =)

Her name is Baby Fairy Purl and she is printed on Papertrey Ink's Stamper's Select White cardstock, colored with Copic markers then die cut using Quote Tag die from Paper Smooches.

The patterned paper is from Lawn Fawn's Hello Sunshine 6x6 Petite Paper Pad and the die cut thanks is from Simon Says Stamp. I also coated the die cut heart and the little fairy's wings with Diamond Stickles and the die cut sentiment is covered with Rock Candy Distress Stickles for a little sparkle.

That's all for now. For more inspirations using images from Mo's Digital Pencil, please visit Mo's Dream Team Blog! =)

    Charlie, Joey & Robin

Hello, my friends! =) Here is a card made using the super cute A Beautiful Day collection from Purple Onion Designs.

There was a bit of work getting this scene constructed and lots of coloring involved, but it was well worth the time! =)

The order of stamping and masking is: Goodies trey --> Joey --> Charlie --> blanket --> Robin --> Bunting. They are all stamped on PTI's Rustic White cardstock panel then colored with Copic markers. It was super fulfilling coloring this one. Doesn't it look like a storybook page? All the credits to the fabulous images illustrated by Stacey Yacula! =)

The trick of creating the scene is that I created a mask for each of the characters. The mask pieces really came in handy with the positioning of each element since the stamps are red rubber and you can't see through them. The sentiment is from A Beautiful Day Sentiment Set. Some Glossy Accents was added to the bunting flags and icing on the cupcakes for a little texture.

That's all for now. For more inspirations using stamps from Purple Onion Designs, please visit Purple Onion Deigns Blog! =)

Have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by!
